Preview: Manchester United vs. West Bromwich Albion

Manchester United can pile the pressure on Manchester City with a win over West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.

Manchester United will try to keep the pressure on arch rivals Manchester City as they prepare to take on West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Sir Alex Ferguson could welcome back Rio Ferdinand into the fold following his ommision from the side that lost 3-2 to Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League round of 16 last night.

Paul Scholes and Michael Carrick may be recalled to secure the midfield with Danny Welbeck partnering Wayne Rooney up front.

Roy Hodgson's side have enjoyed a positive run of results and could start a similar team that defeated Chelsea 1-0 last weekend.

Marc-Antoine Fortune is likely to lead the line with Peter Odemwingie and Jerome Thomas providing support from the wide areas.
