Manchester United defender Phil Jones has admitted his frustration following Sunday's 1-1 draw with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
The England international was pleased with his team's control of the ball, but bemoaned their lack of a creative spark in the final third of the field.
"We were dominant in possession but didn't carve them open," he told MUTV.
"We need to keep working. We will evaluate the game tomorrow and we'll go again. We've got to keep improving."
Jones was once more deployed as one of the three defenders in Louis van Gaal's 3-5-2 formation.
