Jose Mourinho 'to be hit by Football Association clampdown'

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reportedly faces a stadium ban for his latest breach of rules, with the Football Association growing tired of his behaviour.

The Football Association is reportedly ready to take a hard-line approach when dealing with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho following his latest refereeing controversy.

Just two days on from being charged by the FA for comments made about official Anthony Taylor, the Portuguese was at it again at Old Trafford on Saturday as he was sent to the stands during the goalless draw with Burnley.

Mourinho is now expected to be hit by an FA clampdown following an alleged bust-up with Mark Clattenburg in the tunnel area, with the governing body said to be fed up with his constant breaches of the rules in place.

According to The Mirror, the 53-year-old now faces a stadium ban as the FA fears that fines and repeated warnings have little effect on the former Chelsea boss.

Mourinho, who received a suspended stadium ban while at Chelsea last season - which expired prior to his latest offence regarding Taylor - has until 6pm on Monday to answer his charge of improper conduct.
