Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has said that he is enjoying his time at the club after they returned to winning ways against Swansea City on Sunday.
The 28-year-old was heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford during the summer having previously been sold by Jose Mourinho when the pair were together at Chelsea.
However, Mata has quickly established himself as a key member of Mourinho's starting XI, and he hopes to continue proving his worth as the season progresses.
"It's true that our start to the season didn't go as we had hoped for, but we are there [near the top of the table]," he told reporters.
"I want to continue to do the talking on the pitch after a strange summer, with so many things that came out that were false.
"I'm enjoying myself on the pitch and things are going well for me. I've had a good month and I want to continue to showcase my talent on the pitch."
Only Paul Pogba has created more chances than Mata for Manchester United this season.
