French giants Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly lined up former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal to take over from under-fire Unai Emery.
The Spaniard's future at the Parc des Princes is thought to be in doubt, just six months after taking over from Laurent Blanc who was himself dismissed in the summer.
PSG suffered their fourth defeat of the Ligue 1 season on Saturday at the hands of Guingamp, after which Emery told reporters that he still had the full backing of the club's demanding president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
According to French TV station TF1, however, top brass could be about to swing the axe and they have already eyed up Van Gaal - out of work since being shown the Old Trafford exit at the end of last season - to take on the position.
Nice lead the way in the French top flight, sitting six points ahead of the Parisians who are down in third.
