Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata believes that his winning goal in their 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday was one of his "most important" strikes for the club.
The attacking midfielder struck the only goal of the game as the Red Devils edged past Neil Warnock's side at Old Trafford, and Mata talked up the magnitude of the strike after the game.
He told the Manchester Evening News: "It was probably one of my most important goals. It was a very difficult game.
"We needed the three points and I am very happy because we got them and that is exactly what the supporters deserve. It has been a difficult season but this helps.
"When you come off the bench you try to change the game and that what was in my mind when I was warming up. Luckily I managed to do that."
United travel to Arsenal after the international break on November 22.
