Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has suggested that he is no longer happy being labelled the 'Special One', despite the man himself coining the term.

The Portuguese coach used the phrase to describe himself when he was unveiled as Chelsea's new manager in 2004 and it has stuck with him ever since.

While being honoured in his hometown of Setubal, who have renamed a road Avenida Jose Mourinho after the football manager, the 54-year-old claimed that the 'Special One' tag was "bullshit".

"I come to Setubal because I love Setubal, because my friends call me Ze and leave the 'Special One' bullshit," the Manchester Evening News quotes Mourinho as saying.

"Setubal is still the only city where I feel like myself, Ze, Ze Mario. Where people treat me normally and make me feel good. I'm pure Setubal, with all the qualities and defects. this honour moves me.

"I am very grateful. I trade tributes for victories and this is the only one I wouldn't trade."

Mourinho, who took charge of Manchester United last year, is yet to oversee a defeat this season as his team are 10 games unbeaten in all competitions.
