Chelsea's Jose Mourinho: 'We're facing champions, not a side struggling'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho refuses to play down Manchester United's Premier League threat ahead of their clash on Sunday.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has refused to play down Manchester United's threat in the Premier League ahead of their clash on Sunday.

The Blues will take on David Moyes's team at Stamford Bridge with the Red Devils sitting seventh in the table.

In contrast, Chelsea are just two points adrift of leaders Arsenal in their third position in the standings.

"We are not playing against a team that is 11 points behind the leader, we are playing against the champions," Chelsea's official Twitter page quotes Mourinho as saying. "My 100th victory in the Premier League is going to happen, we are going to try to do it against Man United."

The reverse match earlier in the season ended goalless at Old Trafford.
