David Moyes pleased with Wayne Rooney form

Manchester United manager David Moyes reveals that he has enjoyed working with striker Wayne Rooney since moving to Old Trafford during the summer.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has revealed that he has been impressed with the recent form of striker Wayne Rooney.

Rooney has scored five times for United this season, and after he won the man of the match award against Real Sociedad in midweek, Moyes has admitted that the England international's performances have been a "big plus" to the team.

The 50-year-old told reporters: "It has been great working with Wayne. He has been great in training. I thought that he was very, very good in the game in midweek against Real Sociedad.

"We want his form to continue, and for him to keep scoring goals. He is a big plus for us just now."

Rooney is expected to start against Stoke City on Saturday.
