Phil Jones suffers head injury

Phil Jones suffers what appears to be a serious head injury during Manchester United's match at Stoke City.

Manchester United could be without Phil Jones for a number of weeks because of a head injury that he picked up during their ongoing clash with Stoke City.

The centre-back suffered the problem following a collision with Stoke's Jonathan Walters during the first half at the Britannia Stadium.

After several minutes of treatment, the 21-year-old was stretchered off the pitch and is believed to have been taken to hospital for further assessment.
