Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell admits his delight after scoring on his debut in Saturday's 4-0 win over Wigan Athletic.

Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell has admitted that he was "scared" stepping onto the Old Trafford pitch on Saturday.

The 20-year-old, who came off the bench to score during United's 4-0 win over Wigan Athletic, also revealed that it was "a great feeling" to make his debut.

"When I first came out onto the pitch, the crowd scared me a little bit. I am only used to 5,000 people every now and then. It is a great feeling but I will keep myself on the ground," Powell told Sky Sports News.

Powell joined United from Crewe Alexandra in the summer.
