Marcus Rashford hits out at suggestions that there is a divide in the Manchester United dressing room due to Cristiano Ronaldo's presence.

Marcus Rashford has taken to social media to hit out at suggestions that there is a divide in the Manchester United dressing room due to Cristiano Ronaldo's presence at the club.

Bild journalist Christian Falk posted on Twitter that Rashford, Harry Maguire and other English players at Old Trafford were frustrated with Ronaldo's role in the dressing room.

However, the Man United attacker was quick to respond via his own Twitter account, shutting down suggestions of a divide within the camp.

Ralf Rangnick's side returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Tuesday evening, with Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes on the scoresheet in a 2-0 success over Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Red Devils will now be looking to make it successive wins in the league away to Leeds United this weekend before turning their attention to the Champions League, facing a trip to Spain next week to take on Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their last-16 affair.

Rashford's own form has been criticised in recent weeks, and he dropped down to the bench for the clash with Brighton, eventually appearing as a substitute in the second period.
