Report: Manchester United deny Louis van Gaal meeting

Man United have reportedly denied the speculation linking Louis van Gaal with replacing David Moyes at Old Trafford in the summer.

Manchester United have reportedly denied the speculation that they interviewed Louis van Gaal over replacing David Moyes at Old Trafford this summer.

The Netherlands boss was said to have been speaking with a number of United's hierarchy in Europe in recent days over succeeding the Scot, according to Dutch press.

However, according to ESPN, the Red Devils have vehemently denied reports of the meeting and remain firmly behind Moyes.

Van Gaal will leave his post with the Oranje after the World Cup campaign in the summer and has been heavily linked with a switch to Tottenham Hotspur.
