Morgan Schneiderlin has claimed that the upcoming season is "important" for his future at Manchester United.
The midfielder failed to cement a spot in Louis van Gaal's team last season following his £25m move from Southampton.
There have been rumours that Everton are considering a move for the France international, but the 26-year-old has suggested that he wants to prove himself to new United manager Jose Mourinho.
"I can see a lot of smiles and a lot of enjoyment in the training sessions, which is good," Schneiderlin told United's official website. "The training sessions are sharp and it is very enjoyable. I can feel that confidence and winning mentality which will make us a very good team this season.
"It is a big season for me. Of course there were a lot of things that happened last season, but I am looking forward and this season is going to be very important for me. I am really enjoying every training session, which is good. It is good to have this joy and I can't wait to start the season."
United will begin their Premier League campaign away to Bournemouth on August 14.
