Report: Everton want Morgan Schneiderlin

A report claims that Everton are considering a summer move for Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

Everton are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

The 26-year-old joined Man United from Southampton in a £25m deal last summer, but largely struggled to impress during his first season at Old Trafford.

According to The Mirror, new Everton boss Ronald Koeman, who coached Schneiderlin at Southampton, remains close to the Frenchman and will launch an offer if he is given any encouragement in this summer's transfer window.

It is understood that Man United are chasing Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic as new head coach Jose Mourinho looks to make changes ahead of the new campaign.
