Bastian Schweinsteiger delighted with Manchester United win

Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger reveals his delight after his team recorded a 2-1 win over Swansea City in the Premier League.

Manchester United midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger has branded his team's 2-1 win over Swansea City in the Premier League the "best way to start off the new year".

The Red Devils entered the match on the back of an eight-game winless run in all competitions, but managed to secure all the points courtesy of goals from Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney.

After the match, Schweinsteiger took to Twitter to reveal his delight.

Martial opened the scoring in the 47th minute, but Swansea were level in the 71st minute through Gylfi Sigurdsson, before Rooney moved into second on the all-time scoring charts for both the Premier League and Man United with a late winner.
