Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was rushed to hospital last night following a heavy nose bleed.
The 70-year-old, who had treatment over a heart problem in 2003, was taken by ambulance to hospital in Glasgow.
He was later discharged and a club spokesman told The Sun: "There was a minor problem but he is at home resting and is fine."
Ferguson had been due to speak at a celebratory dinner to mark the 40th anniversary of Rangers' Cup Winners' Cup Final triumph over Moscow Dynamo.
