Manchester United interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lavishes praise on Marcus Rashford, who was again on the scoresheet in Saturday's 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion.

Manchester United interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has lavished praise on Marcus Rashford following the attacker's goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.

United's home success over Brighton means that the Red Devils have been victorious in each of their seven matches in all competitions since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho as head coach.

Rashford's strike was his eighth in the Premier League this term, and Solskjaer has said that it is "a dream" to manage the 21-year-old, who has netted in each of his last four league appearances.

"[His goal] wasn't bad was it? [That was his] 150th game which is a feat in itself being 21 as he is. The level of his performances at the moment, the maturity in his finishing, his work-rate, it is just a dream to have players like him in a team," MUTV quotes Solskjaer as saying.

"He is [confident], you have got to be, the way he plays. Of course, he has played a lot of football this last six or seven weeks. He has played all the games in the last few weeks. He has just grown in confidence, the maturity the way he plays, but his work-rate never stops and that is the most pleasing."

Rashford has nine goals in 27 appearances for United in all competitions during the 2018-19 campaign.
