Robin van Persie: 'Manchester United will be back'

Robin van Persie insists that Manchester United will be back challenging for trophies next season.

Robin van Persie has vowed that Manchester United will be back challenging for titles next season.

The Red Devils have endured a difficult 2013-14 campaign, losing manager David Moyes and seemingly failing to qualify for European competition.

However, Van Persie is confident that the team will be much improved next year.

The Dutchman told MUTV: "Trust me, we'll will be back. Trust me. Save this interview!"

United played their final home game of the season on Tuesday night as Van Persie netted during a 3-1 win over Hull City.
