Vidic has not featured for the Red Devils since picking up a calf injury in August.
The 29-year-old has been allowed to join the Serbian national team for their Euro 2012 double header against Italy and Slovenia.
While the defender is not expected to feature against Italy, he could make an appearance in the Slovenia match before returning to United.
