Wayne Rooney finds his own net during Manchester United's home encounter against Stoke City.

Manchester United frontman Wayne Rooney found the back of his own net during his side's Premier League encounter with Stoke City at Old Trafford this afternoon.

With 11 minutes of the match played, Rooney rose inside the United box in an attempt to clear a cross from Stoke's Charlie Adam.

However, the England international only succeeded in diverting the ball past David De Gea in the United goal.
