Saturday's Premier League predictions including Brighton vs. Manchester United

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Premier League action, including Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Manchester United.

Manchester United will look to get off the mark in the Premier League at the second time of asking this Saturday when they take on Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.

Both sides beat Championship opposition away from home in the EFL Cup in midweek, but they suffered contrasting fortunes in their last league games with Brighton beating Newcastle United and Man United losing at home to Crystal Palace.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 1-1 Manchester United

This could be a fascinating contest and, given last weekend's results, one which United fans are particularly wary of. The Red Devils did not look good at home to Crystal Palace, and on paper this is arguably an even tougher match.

Brighton are in good form and were slightly unfortunate with the result against Chelsea on the opening day, so we can see them getting something out of this game.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Crystal Palace vs. Everton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

At least one perfect Premier League record must go on Saturday when Crystal Palace host Everton at Selhurst Park.

The pair are two of only five clubs to have won both of their opening games in 2020-21, and they come into this weekend's match after particularly encouraging results last time out.

We say: Crystal Palace 1-2 Everton

This is a tricky contest to call; Everton lost 11 times away from home last season but look like a much better outfit this time around and have already ended their London hoodoo this term by winning at Tottenham Hotspur on the opening day.

It is a game both teams will fancy their chances of winning, but man for man Everton have the superior squad and so we are backing them to just about edge it and continue their perfect start.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

West Brom vs. Chelsea (Saturday, 5.30pm)

West Bromwich Albion will be looking to get off the mark with their first Premier League points of the season when they take on Chelsea at The Hawthorns on Saturday.

The Baggies have lost their first two games back in the top flight and were knocked out of the EFL Cup in midweek, whereas Chelsea have won and lost their opening two league games.

We say: West Bromwich Albion 1-3 Chelsea

Chelsea have lost three of their last seven away Premier League games at newly-promoted sides, including their most recent such clash at Sheffield United in July last season.

That is not the best of returns, and the Blues did taste defeat in their last league outing, but we cannot see past a comfortable away victory on Saturday.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Burnley vs. Southampton (Saturday, 8.00pm)

Burnley welcome Southampton to Turf Moor on Saturday for their first home game of the new Premier League season.

Both teams are still searching for their first points of the 2020-21 campaign, with Burnley losing at Leicester City in their belated opener and Southampton having lost two from two so far.

We say: Burnley 1-1 Southampton

Both sides will be desperate to get off the mark this season following a poor start, and we can see them earning a point apiece from this contest.

Burnley's injury problems leave Dyche with a threadbare squad, but that rarely affects the way they play and they will likely be difficult to beat again for a Southampton side finding wins hard to come by at the moment.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
