Manchester United are reportedly holding discussions with Marco Asensio's agent over the possibility of signing the Real Madrid attacker during this summer's transfer window.
The 26-year-old scored 12 goals and registered two assists in 42 appearances for Los Blancos last season, but he only has one year left to run on his contract at Bernabeu.
There has been a host of speculation surrounding the Spain international over the last couple of months, with AC Milan and Arsenal both said to be keeping a close eye on the developments.
According to ABC, Man United are currently in talks with Asensio's agent Jorge Mendes over the possibility of bringing him to Old Trafford ahead of next season.
Los Blancos are said to value the versatile attacker in the region of €50m (£42.7m).

Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly keen to sign Real Madrid left-back Ferland Mendy during this summer's transfer window.
The France international was a key player for Los Blancos during the 2021-22 campaign, making 35 appearances in all competitions, contributing two goals and five assists in the process.
Mendy still has more than three years left to run on his contract, but according to Fichajes, Real Madrid are open to selling him for the right price this summer.
The report claims that David Alaba could move across to left-back next season due to the arrival of Antonio Rudiger, which would make it difficult for Mendy to secure regular starts.
Real Madrid would allegedly be looking to recoup the €48m (£41m) fee that they paid Lyon for the defender's services in 2019.
