Manchester United forward Antony's agent firmly denies suggestions that the Brazil international could be leaving Old Trafford.

The agent of Manchester United forward Antony has insisted that there have been no discussions over a possible move for his client either this month or at the end of the campaign.

Antony's future is currently being called into question, with the Brazil international finding it difficult to impress since arriving from Ajax in the summer of 2022.

The 23-year-old is yet to register a goal or an assist in 22 appearances this season, while he has only managed eight goals and three assists in 66 outings for the club in all competitions.

There were suggestions earlier this month that Antony could leave Old Trafford on loan, while a recent report claimed that Man United were hoping to sell the winger to the Saudi Pro League this summer.

However, Antony's agent Junior Pedroso has rubbished suggestions of a transfer and insisted that his client is simply focusing on 'improving his output' for the 20-time English champions.

"Manchester has so far not communicated any interest in transferring him in either the January or summer window," Pedroso told United In Focus.

"Antony is also fully aware of the scrutiny on his lack of production in the final third and is absolutely determined to improve his output.

"Antony is focused on these four months of the season so he can improve his performance, knowing that he needs to score goals and assists. This is his focus. Today our head is on Manchester United.

"He knows very well that he needs to score, there's no point in just playing good games, he has to score goals and provide assists.

"He is very coherent about this. He will come back different, his head has become a little key and certainly in these four months he will show much more than he showed this season."

Pedroso also admitted that his client had "suffered a lot" due to the "major trauma" in his personal life, with Man United head coach Erik ten Hag addressing the situation earlier this month.

Ten Hag said that off-the-field problems were to blame for Antony's form, with the forward still being investigated by both the Greater Manchester Police and Sao Paulo Civil Police following accusations from his ex-girlfriend.

Gabriela Cavallin has claimed that Antony assaulted her on multiple occasions during their relationship, with the alleged incidents said to have happened in both Brazil and England, but Antony has always denied any form of physical violence and continues to work with the police in an attempt to clear his name.

"We had Erik speaking in his favour, that Antony comes from a major trauma, he suffered a lot with everything that happened, but it was important for his maturity and that helped him in this evolutionary process," Pedroso added.

Antony, who was given a leave of absence by Man United earlier this season due to the off-the-field issues, is currently training with the Red Devils ahead of Sunday's FA Cup fourth round contest with Newport County.
