Antony has hit out at claims that Forza Sports Group played a major role in his transfer from Ajax to Manchester United.

Antony has criticised an agency claiming to have played a major role in his move to Manchester United.

The Brazil international joined the Red Devils on transfer deadline day after United paid £85.5m to sign the winger from Ajax.

However, since the transfer has been announced, two agents have become embroiled in a £20m dispute over which company should receive the bonus payment.

Forza Sports Group believe that they had a major role in the transfer, while Antony's personal agent Junior Pedroso is insisting that he negotiated the deal.

With the dispute still continuing, Antony has taken to Instagram to hit out at Forza Sports Group's claims that they were heavily involved in the transfer.

The 22-year-old posted: "This must be a joke!??!! After so much work by our team/family, an unknown person wants to take control of my transfer.

"I kindly ask you to delete my name from your publication, as YOU were not involved in the negotiation of my contract nor the negotiation of the transfer between the two clubs #respect."

Antony's post comes after United's 3-1 Premier League victory over Arsenal on Sunday, where he opened his account for the club with a first-half strike.

The Brazil international will have the chance to score in consecutive games if he is involved in Thursday's Europa League encounter against Real Sociedad.
