Arsenal have reportedly had a €90m (£76m) offer for Victor Osimhen rejected by Napoli.
The 23-year-old has been in strong form for his Italian club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 18 goals and registering six assists in 32 appearances in all competitions.
Meanwhile, the Nigeria international has scored 28 goals and provided nine assists in 62 matches for Napoli since making the move from French giants Lille in September 2020.
Osimhen still has more than three years left to run on his contract in Naples, but there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent weeks, with a number of clubs believed to be keen to sign him during this summer's transfer window.
Manchester United continue to be credited with an interest in the Nigerian, as the Red Devils will be losing Edinson Cavani on a free transfer, while Anthony Martial could also depart this summer.

Arsenal have also been strongly linked with the forward, meanwhile, and according to Calciomercato, the Gunners have had a big-money offer rejected.
The report claims that the North London outfit approached Napoli with a bid of €90m (£76m), but the offer was quickly rejected by the Serie A club's president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
De Laurentiis will allegedly refuse to sell Osimhen in the upcoming market unless an offer of at least €110m (£93m) arrives.
The forward's agent Roberto Calenda reportedly met with senior figures at Napoli towards the end of last month to discuss his client's future ahead of the summer window.

Osimhen has scored 14 goals and registered five assists in 27 Serie A appearances this season, while he netted four goals and provided one assist in five Europa League outings.
Arsenal are expected to sign at least one new forward this summer, having allowed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to leave the club on a free transfer in January.
Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are both out of contract at the end of June, meanwhile, so head coach Mikel Arteta will be forced to overhaul his attack ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
Barcelona and Real Madrid have also previously been credited with Osimhen, although there is currently no indication whether either club are planning a summer move.
Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski is believed to be Barcelona's main attacking target in the upcoming market, but Real Madrid have been forced to switch their attention from Kylian Mbappe, with the France international signing a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
