Arsenal are reportedly ready to battle bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of Lyon defender Joachim Andersen.
The Denmark international has played a starring role at Fulham since joining the Cottagers on loan last summer, starting 27 Premier League matches under Scott Parker.
Andersen is thought to be open to staying at Craven Cottage - even if the capital outfit suffer relegation - but Tottenham and Manchester United have both been tipped to swoop for the £25m-rated defender.
Now, The Mirror claims that Arsenal have joined the race for his signature, with Lyon prepared to cash in on the 24-year-old amid their volatile financial situation.
The report adds that Andersen could be signed as a replacement for David Luiz, whose Arsenal contract expires in the summer, but Lyon chief Juninho is happy to welcome him back to the Groupama Stadium should he wish.
West Ham United have also been credited with an interest in the defender, whose Lyon contract still has another three years left to run.
