Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur could sign Lyon defender Joachim Andersen for £25m this summer, according to a report.

Lyon have reportedly informed both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur that Joachim Andersen will be available during this summer's transfer window for £25m.

The 24-year-old joined Fulham on loan last October and has been in impressive form for the Cottagers during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring once and providing one assist in 25 Premier League outings.

Both Man United and Tottenham have allegedly been monitoring the Denmark international's performances for Scott Parker's side, who are facing the possibility of dropping back into the Championship for next season.

According to The Telegraph, Lyon's financial problems mean that the French outfit would be willing to accept an offer in the region of £25m in the upcoming market.

Andersen still has more than three years left to run on his contract with Les Gones, who signed him from Sampdoria in the summer of 2019.

Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Spurs manager Jose Mourinho are both thought to be keen to bring a new central defender to their respective clubs ahead of next season.
