Bayern Munich reportedly have no intention of signing Douglas Costa from Juventus on a permanent basis.
The 30-year-old arrived for a second stint with the Bundesliga champions last summer, but he has endured a nightmare spell in Bavaria with just one goal and one assist from 11 top-flight appearances.
Furthermore, Costa has started a measly three Bundesliga games this term and is currently sidelined with a hairline fracture in his foot, which has forced him to miss Bayern's last six league matches.
According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bayern have decided against re-signing the Brazilian winger on a permanent basis, so as things stand he will be returning to Juventus for the 2021-22 season.
Costa has been tipped to head back to Brazil and link up with Gremio once again, but Romano states that no talks have been held over a move back to his boyhood club.
The former Shakhtar Donetsk attacker was previously linked with a move to Manchester United as a potential alternative to Jadon Sancho, while Leeds United are also thought to be weighing up a move if Raphinha departs this summer.
