Casemiro is reportedly set to undergo a medical on Friday ahead of his proposed transfer from Real Madrid to Manchester United.
United have been trying to sign Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona this summer, but with the Dutchman reluctant to leave Camp Nou, the Red Devils have turned their attention to another La Liga player.
A recent report stated that United were close to agreeing a £60m fee with Real Madrid for Casemiro, who could double his salary to £8.4m by joining the Premier League club.
According to Marca, via Madrid Zone, the Brazilian's move to Old Trafford appears to be edging closer with the midfielder set to undergo a medical with United on Friday.

Although Christian Eriksen has joined the club this summer, the signing of Casemiro will further strengthen United's midfield after losing Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic at the end of last season.
The 30-year-old - who has made 336 appearances for Los Blancos - started Real Madrid's UEFA Super Cup win over Eintracht Frankfurt, while he featured as a substitute against Almeria last weekend.
