Chelsea have reportedly entered the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier this summer.
The 24-year-old right-back has been linked with a move away from the Ligue 1 side following the arrival of Dani Alves, with Manchester United rumoured to have lodged a bid of around £27m in recent days.
Yesterday it was claimed that United were "not interested" in the player however, and according to Le 10 Sport, Chelsea have now emerged as the frontrunners to land his signature.
The publication claims that Antonio Conte's side have made initial enquiries with PSG over Aurier's availability and are now considering tabling an offer.
Aurier is currently banned from entering the UK for assaulting a police officer in Paris last year, but has applied to have the restriction overturned and will discover the verdict in the next few weeks.
