Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic reportedly wants to stay at Stamford Bridge despite interest from Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle United.

Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic is reportedly keen to stay at the club during the January transfer window.

The USA international struggled to earn regular starts under Thomas Tuchel, and his game time situation has not improved much under Graham Potter either.

Despite his lack of first-eleven appearances at Stamford Bridge, Pulisic remains an integral member of the USA setup and was unsurprisingly called up to their 2022 World Cup squad.

The 24-year-old has caught the eye in Qatar with his performances against England and Wales, and a number of clubs are believed to be interested in his services.

Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal have all been mooted as possible destinations for Pulisic, with Chelsea supposedly keen to sanction a permanent exit rather than a loan deal.

However, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg - via football.london - Pulisic's first priority is to remain at Chelsea and fight for his future with the West London powerhouses.

The report adds that an exit during the winter is still not beyond the realm of possibility, but the offer would have to be one that is too good for the attacker to turn down.

Pulisic is only contracted to Chelsea until the summer of 2024, though, so the Blues could come under pressure to sell if it becomes clear that he will not extend his deal.

Pulisic left Borussia Dortmund in 2019 to join Chelsea, with the Blues agreeing a £55.3m deal to sign the American in January before his move was made official in the summer.

Over the past three years, the 24-year-old has come up with 26 goals and 21 assists in 133 appearances for Chelsea, and he has won a total of three trophies in West London.

Pulisic has scooped the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup with Chelsea, but he has played a bit-part role for the capital giants in 2022-23.

The former Dortmund starlet has scored once and provided two assists in 18 games for Chelsea this term, starting just three Premier League matches and one Champions League outing.

Pulisic's prospects of game time at Chelsea would slim further next year if RB Leipzig's Christopher Nkunku arrives, with Potter's side believed to be closing in on the Frenchman's signing.

Chelsea are believed to have agreed a €60m (£51.8m) deal to sign Nkunku in the summer of 2023, and the 25-year-old is already said to have completed a medical ahead of his switch.
