Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen could miss Ajax's Champions League qualifier in order to avoid being cup-tied should he move to Manchester United, according to reports.
The Dutch keeper has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in this window, and reports suggest that United have a deal in place for the shot-stopper should David de Gea move to Real Madrid.
Ajax are due to play the first leg of a crucial qualifier with Rapid Vienna tonight, but The Telegraph claims that Cillessen is likely to miss it so that any potential move to United is smooth.
The 26-year-old has complained of a slight groin injury, but it is not expected to be a long-term issue.
Cillessen played under United boss Louis van Gaal at the World Cup last year.
