Ajax coach Frank de Boer has revealed that he 'assumes' goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen will remain at the club.
With the future of Manchester United stopper David de Gea still undecided, Cillessen has been linked with a potential move to Old Trafford, but De Boer has insisted that the Netherlands international is likely to remain in Amsterdam.
The 45-year-old told Voetbal International: "He is very important to us so we do not want to lose him. I'm assuming that he stays."
Cillessen has made 93 appearances during his four-year spell at Ajax.
