Inter Milan are reportedly willing to include Milan Skriniar and Marcelo Brozovic in any deal to sign N'Golo Kante from Chelsea this summer.
Inter boss Antonio Conte is thought to have earmarked a reunion with Kante as his top transfer priority for the remainder of the window, which ends for international deals in one week.
Sporting director Piero Ausilio has poured cold water on those rumours, but 90min claims that they are still working behind the scenes to determine whether an agreement is possible.
Kante's future at Stamford Bridge has come under scrutiny after he missed a chunk of last season through injury, while Chelsea are also looking to offload players after a big-spending summer.
The 29-year-old's asking price has proven to be a sticking point in negotiations so far, but Inter are now ready to use Skriniar and Brozovic as makeweights in order to reduce the financial outlay.
Skriniar has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks, while Brozovic has been linked with the likes of Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid this year.
Inter could face competition for Kante's signature from Manchester United, though, after reports emerged that the Red Devils have made an enquiry about the World Cup winner.
