Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj is reportedly closing in on a loan move to Sunderland to play under his former manager David Moyes.
The new Black Cats boss recently confirmed interest in the Belgium international, who has struggled for first-team minutes at Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old did not figure in Louis van Gaal's team last season as he was sent out on loan to Borussia Dortmund before being recalled in January.
Jose Mourinho is now the man in charge at United, and it appears as though he is willing to offload Januzaj, but only on a temporary deal.
According to the Daily Mail, both parties are in negotiations over a loan as United do not want to make the same mistake that they did with Paul Pogba by allowing a young player to leave permanently and then buy him back for an inflated price.
Pogba rejoined United yesterday for a world-record £89m fee.
