Lyon sporting director Juninho has revealed that Manchester United have first option on Memphis Depay should the French outfit agree to sell the Netherlands international.
Depay turned out for United between 2015 and 2017, scoring just seven times in 53 appearances for the 20-time English champions before joining Lyon.
The Dutchman has managed 50 goals in 130 appearances for his French side in all competitions, including 11 in 14 outings during the 2019-20 campaign.
Tottenham Hotspur have recently been linked with a swoop for the 25-year-old, but Juninho has revealed that United "have a priority" to re-sign the attacker.
"It's true that Manchester United have a priority to buy back Memphis," Juninho told OLTV. "These things exist in football. But until now, we've not received anything on Memphis."
Depay, who has played through the middle on a number of occasions for Les Gones this season, only scored twice in 33 Premier League outings during his time with the Red Devils.
