Erik Lamela's agent has dismissed reports that Manchester United have tabled a bid for the player.
Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson was reportedly prepared to offer up to £30m for the Roma forward, but Pablo Sabbag insists that there is "no truth" to the rumours.
"No, there is no truth," he told gazzettagiallorossa.it. "At the moment there is no official offer from Manchester United for Lamela.
"I have a relationship with Manchester United, but I have never discussed this topic with them or with Roma.
"Will Erik stay at Roma? It is still too early to talk about the market."
Lamela joined Roma from River Plate in his native Argentina in the summer of 2011, and has attracted attention from several top European clubs during the current campaign.
