Liverpool and Manchester United have reportedly been quoted £100m if they wish to sign Napoli's central defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
Manchester City had previously been linked with the Senegalese international before they opted to sign Ruben Dias from Benfica last summer.
As a result, Liverpool and Man United could lock horns for the highly-rated defender, although talkSPORT's Jim White has stated that they will have to pay a nine-figure sum if they wish to recruit the 29-year-old.
"There isn't a window in the last two, three or four that we don't see big mentions of the Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly," White said. "This morning, I spoke to Aurelio De Laurentiis, the Napoli owner, and said what about your player, are there bids in for him?
"He laughed it off saying he's not for sale. He's absolutely not for sale unless one of the big clubs in England come up with £100m."
Koulibaly, who has made over 260 appearances for Napoli, has featured 18 times in all competitions at club level this campaign.
