Liverpool 'plot £20m Alexandre Lacazette swoop'

Liverpool are reportedly favourites to sign Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette at the end of the season.

Liverpool are reportedly considering a £20m move for Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette this summer.

Manchester United were thought be favourites to land the French international at the end of the season are believed to be have told to pay £22m to land the player.

However, The Express claims that Liverpool are in pole position to land the 23-year-old frontman.

The Reds are keen to sign a striker with Daniel Sturridge out of action until at least September and are expected to make a £20m bid for Lacazette, but Lyon are not giving up on the possibility that Lacazette will stay.
