Manchester United reportedly recently made an enquiry for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Manchester United reportedly recently made contact with Lazio to enquire about Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The 26-year-old has been in impressive form for his Italian club during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring eight goals and registering 11 assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.

Milinkovic-Savic has long been linked with a move away from Lazio, but he has more than three years left to run on his contract with the Serie A giants.

According to journalist Jonathan Shrager, Man United are long-term admirers of the Serbia international and recently enquired about the central midfielder.

Shrager, though, claims that Manchester City and Chelsea are also interested in Milinkovic-Savic, while a number of Serie A and La Liga clubs are said to be keeping a close eye on him.

The Serbian has scored 47 goals and registered 38 assists in 243 appearances for I Biancocelesti since arriving from Genk in August 2015.
