Manchester United reportedly draw up a three-man attacking shortlist after missing out on the signing of Cody Gakpo.

Manchester United have reportedly identified three potential forwards they could sign during the January transfer window after they failed to land Cody Gakpo.

The Red Devils were heavily linked with the Netherlands international, but they were beaten to the signing by their Premier League rivals Liverpool.

Despite missing out on Gakpo, United are still keen to sign a new striker following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo in November.

According to The Mirror, they have drawn up a three-man shortlist which includes Rafael Leao, Dusan Vlahovic and Goncalo Ramos, who play for AC Milan, Juventus and Benfica respectively.

Leao's current deal runs until June 2024, while Vlahovic and Ramos are contracted with their respective clubs until the summer of 2026.

However, United are believed to be looking into the potential of a loan signing rather than a permanent deal after spending around £230m during the summer transfer window.
