Manchester United are open to selling Jadon Sancho during this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly open to selling Jadon Sancho during this summer's transfer window, with a number of clubs said to be showing an interest.

The 23-year-old moved to Old Trafford in the summer of 2021 off the back of scoring 50 goals and registering 64 assists in 137 appearances for Borussia Dortmund during a highly successful spell.

Sancho has found it difficult to show his best form during his two seasons at Man United, though, only managing 12 goals and six assists in 79 appearances.

The England international was heavily involved for Erik ten Hag's side during the 2022-23 campaign, featuring on 41 occasions in all competitions, scoring seven times and contributing three assists, but he did miss a chunk of the season due to off-the-field issues.

Sancho contributed six goals and three assists in 26 Premier League appearances, as Man United secured a return to the 2023-24 Champions League by finishing third in the Premier League.

However, there is currently speculation surrounding the England international's future, with Tottenham Hotspur recently credited with an interest.

There have also been claims that both Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain are keen to explore a deal for the former Manchester City youngster in the current market.

According to FootballTransfers, Man United are willing to enter into discussions over Sancho, with Aston Villa another of the teams showing an interest in his services.

The report claims that the 20-time English champions want £60m for the attacker, which Unai Emery's side are not prepared to pay, but the two clubs could enter into a negotiation.

Man United are in a strong position when it comes to the forward's future, as he has a contract at Old Trafford until June 2026, with the option of a further 12 months.

Sancho's struggles with the Red Devils have seen him drop out of the England squad, but a strong 2023-24 campaign could potentially put him in contention to feature at Euro 2024.

Man United are not thought to be actively looking to sell Sancho due to their lack of numbers in the final third of the field, with Wout Weghorst not expected to arrive on a permanent basis from Burnley.

Ten Hag's side will move for at least one striker in the current market, although Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane is not expected to make the move to Old Trafford despite the recent speculation, with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy reportedly maintaining that the England captain is not for sale.
