Manchester United have confirmed the signing of defender Patrick Dorgu from Lecce on a contract until June 2030.
The Denmark international underwent a medical with the Red Devils on Saturday, and his arrival at Old Trafford has now been confirmed, with the 20-year-old becoming Man United's second signing of the January transfer window.
The 20-time English champions confirmed the arrival of Ayden Heaven from Arsenal on Saturday, and Dorgu has now followed him to Manchester, with the left-back potentially being presented to the Old Trafford crowd ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash between Man United and Crystal Palace.
"I am incredibly proud to be able to call myself a Manchester United player; this is a very special day for my whole family," Dorgu told the club's official website upon confirmation of the move.
"I cannot wait to work with Ruben Amorim; his vision for this team and the future of the club is incredibly exciting. There is a clear plan set out for my development, and I feel that Manchester United is the perfect place to fulfil my potential and complete my huge ambitions."

Dorgu "incredibly proud" to complete Man United move
Man United's technical director Jason Wilcox, meanwhile, branded Dorgu "a really exciting talent".
"Patrick is a really exciting talent; his strong defensive and attacking attributes, adaptability and work-rate will make him a key part of Ruben Amorim's squad," Wilcox told the club's official website.
"Patrick has had a superb start to his career, and at the age of just 20, we know he will continue to develop under the guidance of our excellent coaching team.
"Patrick is the latest exciting young player that we have brought into the club. We believe that each of these talents has world-class potential and the ability to play a key role in achieving the success that everyone at Manchester United is striving for."

When could Dorgu make his debut for Man United?
Dorgu has not arrived at Old Trafford in time to be involved in Sunday's Premier League clash with Palace, but there is a strong chance that he could be involved against Leicester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup on February 7.
The Dane's first Premier League appearance could then potentially come against Tottenham Hotspur on February 16.

How much have Man United paid for Dorgu?
Neither Man United nor Lecce have confirmed the exact transfer fee for the defender.
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Man United have signed Dorgu in a deal worth an initial €30m (£25.1m) plus a further €5m (£4.2m) in potential add-ons.
Dorgu has left Lecce having represented the Italian side on 57 occasions in all competitions, scoring five times and registering two assists in the process, and he is expected to battle fit-again Luke Shaw for the left-sided wing-back role in Amorim's 3-4-3 formation.
