Manchester United are reportedly waiting for a 'final answer' from Christian Eriksen, with the Red Devils keen to bring him to Old Trafford on a free transfer this summer.
Eriksen's contract at Brentford is due to expire at the end of June, and he has allegedly made the decision to leave the Bees as a free agent.
A recent report claimed that Man United had offered the Denmark international a contract, with the club's new head coach Erik ten Hag desperate to sign the 30-year-old.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 20-time English champions are still waiting for Eriksen to make a decision on his future.
Romano also claims that Brentford are making an attempt to keep hold of the playmaker, but there is no interest from Tottenham Hotspur despite the recent speculation.

Eriksen said earlier this month that he would not be rushing a decision on his future, with the attacker remaining calm over his future in the game.
"No (rush the decision), and they know that too," Bold.dk quotes Eriksen as saying. "There are many criteria and many different things inside such a decision. Sometimes it goes fast in football, other times a little slower. You are not in control of it yourself. I have to make the best decision and not rush anything through.
"My phone stays on, but I also know my agent well enough to know that he only calls if there's something exciting."
Meanwhile, the Dane said that he has "different offers and options" and would consider a move to a club that were not in the Champions League next term, handing Man United a boost.
He told Viaplay: "I have different offers and options, which we are considering, and then we make a decision. I would love to play Champions League football again. I know how much fun it is, but it isn't essential for me."

Eriksen impressed in the second half of the 2021-22 campaign, scoring once and providing four assists in 11 Premier League appearances for Brentford, having joined the club on a free transfer in January.
The Dane had an implantable cardioverter defibrillator device fitted after suffering a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020, which saw him leave Inter Milan, moving to Thomas Frank's side on a deal until the end of June.
Dutch journalist Marcel van der Kraan recently claimed that new Man United boss Ten Hag has demanded the signing of Eriksen this summer alongside Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong.
"Erik ten Hag has made it so clear to the Man United board that he wants both Frenkie de Jong and Christian Eriksen. If they don't get those two players, it would be a breakdown of his ID and his model and his style at United," Van der Kraan told Sky Sports News.
"Erik ten Hag doesn't want any other players apart from those two first. Ten Hag says he's seen the style of Barcelona and Ajax - if you want to play a certain attacking style, then you need Frenkie.
"With Christian Eriksen, at the beginning of this year, he's come back from his heart shock. Erik ten Hag was able to witness with his own eyes the fitness of Eriksen again and those performances for Brentford really convinced him."
Eriksen scored eight times and provided three assists in 60 appearances for Inter ahead of a switch to Brentford, while he previously represented Tottenham in the Premier League between 2013 and 2020.
