Manchester United are planning a bid for Blackpool's Thomas Ince in January, according to reports.

Blackpool winger Thomas Ince could move to Manchester United during the January transfer window, according to reports.

Sir Alex Ferguson has been tracking the progress of the the 20-year-old, who is out of contract at Bloomfield Road at the end of the season.

Ince has scored six goals in eight Championship matches this season and his performances could prompt Ferguson to make a bid for Ince's signature in January, according to Sky Sports News.

It is likely that Blackpool manager Ian Holloway would be keen to keep Ince at the Championship club, but a sizeable bid from United may force Blackpool to sell the England Under-21 international.
