Manchester United to bid £31m for Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet?

Manchester United reportedly show an interest in signing Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet, who has been strongly linked with Barcelona.

Sevilla defender Clement Lenglet has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United.

In recent weeks, it has been claimed that Lenglet is likely to join Barcelona, although the Frenchman's representative has previously suggested that the player is yet to make a decision on his future.

However, according to L'Equipe, United are now interested in signing the 22-year-old who has quickly established himself as one of European football's most highly-regarded prospects.

The report claims that United are prepared to bid in the region of £31m for the left-sided player, who has a release clause in his Sevilla contract.

Lenglet is still tied to Sevilla for another three years, but it appears likely that the ex-Nancy player will sign for a bigger club at some point in the future.
