Manchester United are reportedly prepared to table a new £130k-a-week contract offer to Jesse Lingard in order to fend off interest from West Ham United.
The England international could not get a look-in under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during the early stages of the 2020-21 season, but he flourished at the London Stadium during a six-month loan spell.
Lingard's nine goals and five assists in 16 Premier League appearances helped David Moyes's side secure Europa League football, and the Hammers are reportedly determined to strike a permanent deal for the attacker this summer.
Lingard's existing Man United deal is due to expire in 12 months' time, but according to the Daily Star, the Red Devils want to tie him down for another three years with a £130k-a-week salary.
The report adds that the deal will include the option to trigger a further year, but the attacker has recently affirmed that he is after consistent game time amid speculation surrounding his next career move.
The 28-year-old has scored 33 goals and assisted 20 more for the Red Devils in 210 appearances across all competitions, but he was not included in Gareth Southgate's final Euro 2020 squad.
