Manchester United could reportedly sell as many as five first-team players during this summer's transfer window.

Manchester United could reportedly shift as many as five first-team players during this summer's transfer window as part of a squad revamp.

The Red Devils are believed to be closing in on a deal for Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho, which could allegedly see Anthony Martial leave the club in the current market.

According to ESPN, as well as Martial, Donny van de Beek, Diogo Dalot, Andreas Pereira and Jesse Lingard could all leave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.

Van de Beek struggled to make his mark at Old Trafford last season after arriving from Ajax, while Dalot and Pereira spent the campaign on loan at AC Milan and Lazio respectively.

Lingard, meanwhile, joined West Ham United on loan for the second half of the 2020-21 season, and the attacker only has 12 months left to run on his current deal at Old Trafford.

Solskjaer's side are also thought to be keen to land a new centre-back this summer, which could potentially see Axel Tuanzebe depart on a short-term basis.
