Robert Lewandowski and Cesc Fabregas reportedly privately express to Manchester United that they would be open to moving to Old Trafford this summer.

Manchester United are reportedly feeling confident that they will clinch the signings of Robert Lewandowski and Cesc Fabregas this summer.

The Red Devils are said to have been tracking Borussia Dortmund frontman Lewandowski for some time, but believed that they were out of the running when Bayern Munich came calling.

However, the Poland international's representative recently claimed that Dortmund have blocked the striker's switch to their Bundesliga rivals, potentially freeing up a move to Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, the Premier League champions are thought to be eyeing a swoop for ex-Arsenal captain Fabregas, who has claimed that he will only leave Barcelona if they choose to sell him.

It is believed that both players have expressed to United that they would be keen on moving to Old Trafford this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

New United manager David Moyes made his first signing of the summer last week in the form of Uruguayan defender Guillermo Varela.
